Our First Swim of the Season

So here's the kids hanging out by the fountain at the water park, where we decided that "Yes! It is finally hot enough to hit the pool!"


Bubba got to wear his new suit that his Mamaw bought him, and Bella fished out her water wings from last summer and a new little suit we found on the clearance rack at the Old Navy.


Bubba looked great in his new suit, and it did keep him afloat, but he couldn't move in it, so we eventually had to take it off. Then there was the fact that though the day was warm, the water was icy! It didn't bother Bella one bit, but Bubba would have nothing to do with it!

We love our pool this year, and will miss it when we move. It has a "beach" entrance, which just means it goes in from 0 inches so you can walk into the water without steps. The toddler area has a great big "mushroom" sprinkler that provides fun and shade, and the deepest the regular area gets is 5feet. Nice.
